Privacy policy

I don't collect or retain any data at all, ever, period.

The only thing this website does is track the number of times each linked is clicked - I don't care who clicks the links, where the clicker is from, or what browser version the clicker is using. If you don't want your clicks to be counted simply copy the link and paste it.

Stay safe online

Everyone should be concerned about their safety and privacy online. The Electronic Frontier Foundation has some good resources about user safety and privacy, and the office of Australia's eSafety Commissioner has some broad resources particularly useful for parents and Australian first nations peoples.

Privacy tools

I recommend the following tools for staying safe online:

  • TOR browser.
    Block trackers
Tor Browser isolates each website you visit so third-party trackers and ads can't follow you. Any cookies automatically clear when you're done browsing. So will your browsing history.
    Defend against surveillance
Tor Browser prevents someone watching your connection from knowing what websites you visit. All anyone monitoring your browsing habits can see is that you're using Tor.
    Resist fingerprinting
Tor Browser aims to make all users look the same, making it difficult for you to be fingerprinted based on your browser and device information.
    Multi-layered encryption
Your traffic is relayed and encrypted three times as it passes over the Tor network. The network is comprised of thousands of volunteer-run servers known as Tor relays.
    Browser freely
With Tor Browser, you are free to access sites your home network may have blocked.

  • Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a mechanism for creating a secure connection between a computing device and a computer network, or between two networks, using an insecure communication medium such as the public Internet. I use Proton VPN.

  • NoScript browser extension allows JavaScript and other potentially harmful content to be executed only by trusted web sites of your choice (e.g. your online bank). NoScript also provides the most powerful anti-XSS protection ever available in a browser. NoScript's unique pre-emptive script blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known, such as Meltdown or Spectre, and even not known yet!) with no functionality loss: you can enable JavaScript and other dynamic capabilities for sites you trust with a simple click.

  • Privacy badger is an install-and-forget browser add-on that stops advertisers and trackers from secretly tracking where you go and what pages you look at on the web. If an advertiser or other third party seems to be tracking you across multiple websites without your permission, Privacy Badger automatically blocks them from loading any more content in your browser.

  • Decentraleyes browser extension. Protects you against tracking through "free", centralised, content delivery. It prevents a lot of requests from reaching networks like Google Hosted Libraries, and serves local files to keep sites from breaking. Complements regular content blockers.
